Naturally, the Nikon bodies are so good you obviously want the best glass to put on the front. As most Nokin users will also do.... I also so went for 'C'....
The only thing is paying for it.

Well, what I'd like isn't on the list, so I can't vote. I'd like wider (Though not excessive) dynamic range, and a wider colour gamut.
We already have more than enough pixels on our sensors, and noise is already pretty low. 12-15 5DII quality Mp on a full-frame sensor would be nice.

I'd like really effective motion picture recording as well 24/25 fps high bit-rate and 1080p

More time to use what I have would be my ideal upgrade but from the list more pixels would likely be the most useful.
Noise? Usually I'd rather try for more favourable conditions rather than take the easy option of cranking up the ISO...where possible and if I was bothered about the qaulity of the result that is
Better glass? More glass maybe...probably not much chance of an upgrade when nobody makes a rival for what you already have.
A cruise to all those fantastic places that are so photogenic, the polar ice and the polar bears, the Norwegian Fiords, Egypt, Iceland.......
I do not need better equipment, I have enough good kit. But like Andrew I want more time and better locations. TBH Norfolk is lovely, but not very photogenic!![]()

I would go with bigger pixels too.
Not that bothered about A,B or C They will incrementally improve as time goes on. But what I have on my 40D give me what I "need".
I would rather have a different set of wishes ,
E- built in "radio" control of camera and flash.
F- full climate proofing.
G- 3 extra stops of latitude.
But as the man says, these are for now, pie in the sky wishes.....

There's plenty who'd lynch you for that! Personally I find Norfolk very photogenic, but I suppose it depends on what inspires you. Not many hills, I'll give you that.![]()
I never said anything about wanting better locations...But like Andrew I want more time and better locations.
...although am looking forward to Skye in April for a change in location![]()

More Pixels.......on the grounds that some is better than none!

Give it time! Technically the SD14 gives more resolution than a standard 4.6 mp camera, probably similar to a 10 mp Bayer sensor and images can be interpolated more than a standard Bayer sensor. I'm not going to get into a debate, I use an SD14 and know its limitations, but I also know what it's capable of in the right conditions. One suspects Sigma's main R&D budget goes into lenses but the Foveon sensor has a lot of potential. There are more than enough pixels and glass out there IMHO so less noise for me, especially at higher ISOs.
The improvements I'm most looking forward to are in the Micro Four Thirds world. I'd love to see an interchangeable lens camera smaller than the Pano G1 and maybe even fixed lens compacts with the MFT sensor too.
Also, I could never understand why the Foveon sensor never developed beyond 4.6 MP. The idea of a sensor that records images in the same way as film should have been a lot more successful than it has been, so maybe some new developments in this area now that Sigma has taken control![]()
I cannot pick anything here, as I have just got a 5D mkII and have L lenses, more lenses I would like, but not better ones, as they don't exist as far as I know?!
Maybe I misread the question, but I took it to be a hypothetical, what if senario, in terms of what the manufactuers could do to part you from your hard earned dosh. Rather than looking at current equipment, I was looking more at what I'd like to see, in my case Nikon, produce in the near future.

Sorry Andrew, should have put that bit in brackets, it is me who wants it, we can all do with more time though.I never said anything about wanting better locations...But like Andrew I want more time and better locations.

I should not have been so hard on Norfolk, but it does take some getting used to when coming from Surrey, where there are hills a plenty!TBH Norfolk is lovely, but not very photogenic!![]()

Had a day at Walsingham and the villages around that part of the world are very photogenic, as was the 'snowdrop walk' in the Abbey grounds.
