    Download from PC to camera

I have a DCM-FX01. I recently uploaded pictures to my PC and deleted them from the camera. How can I copy them back so they will be displayed on the camera?
I have used Windows Explorer to drag and drop them and can see the pictures in Explorer but they do not display on the camera itself. If I purchased a card reader would I be able to copy the pictures that way so the camera would display them?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Are you putting the pictures in the right place on the card? Formatting will create, in my experience, two folders - one inside the other. You need to put your files inside the second one I think.

Agree Tim, not the most intuitive method and quite difficult to access that 2nd folder on the camera. I did it a few years ago and never did get to see them again

Yes, I checked which folder held the jpeg images and copied to that. I found my copy of the instruction book and it does say under Pictbridge that it won't work. I've found someone with a memory-card reader so I'll give that a go but I'm not sure why it would work any better.
    Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Oh, I was assuming a card reader was being used.
