    Film Grain

    I wonder if someone can give me an explaination of Film grain without all the technical jargon please?

    Think of it as being something like a mosaic picture.
    From a distance it can look like a painting...but close-up...you can see the indavidual "tiles" that make-up the
    "picture" The finer the grain, the smaller the "tiles"
    For a more technical explanation of WHAT is film grain,
    do a Google or Wikipedia of film grain.

    Film grain also becomes more noticable as film speed (ISO) increases.
    Can't be a***d with a signature.
