    Results December Forum Competition 2008

    Hi all.

I've posted the results right here, in the features section.

I hope you enjoy them. You'll see I couldn't pick between the two second placed photographs, so I thought we could have a little poll here to help decide.

Post your comments in the thread below.

    Thanks all,

Well done everyone. I had no dificulty picking ephemaral for 2nd, His was my personal fave and would have won if I'd been judging. It's a fantastic shot.

    Well done the winners!

With so many excellant entries, I'm happy just to have been shortlisted! The standard is certainly getting higher every month.

Congratulations to the winner, runners up and those who made the shortlist in what has probably been the toughest category of the year. So many excellent images and such a wide range of interpretation.

Many thanks to Damien for judging the competition all year and to everyone who entered, it's been a source of inspiration and great deal of enjoyment for me and long may it continue.

Thanks Damien, and to all the posters above! Abstract isn't my 'thing' so when I saw all the brilliant pics entered I really didn't reckon much for my chances.

For info - Damien guessed right - it's a fire escape and it's shadow, desaturated and rotated in Photoshop; and then recoloured using Paint!

Another fierce competition. It's a bit novel to have a 'vox-pop' for 2nd and 3rd prize but, given the opportunity, I've made my choice. Well done to the top three and to all on the shortlist.

Congratulations to the winners and all those short listed, if last month was difficult to judge, I'd hate to have to decide this month.
