Hi all,
Does anyone recommend the Giant Causeway and other locations around the north west coast of Ireland in Late Jan-Early Feb, or is the weather just to poor and unpredictable for this location?
Is it a location worthy of visiting?

Yes - though done to death - the waves can make very interesting pictures which at least won't be like all the "postcard" shots that are taken by 400,000 people every year. Hey, don't mock one of the 7th wonders of the world! The place is awesome, there are shots you could take that will be like the others, but make your stamp on it mate. Go wide, wide wide. Bring a prop, bring a person, make something.

If you haven't been, and get the chance, it's a fantastic location. Weather does, of course, play its part - as does time of year. However, with vision and a good look around (wear good footwear as in places it's not easy going) there are excellent vistas to photo.
