    Flash unit for the G1

I am looking to put a package together for the G1, with the hot shoe facility what would be the recommended flash to use around the £100 mark. It will be used for general shots indoor and outdoors. It has been suggested to look at either a Nissin or Sunpack?

I'm not familiar with these flashguns. Panasonic warn you of course only to use their flash guns threatening all kinds of disasters if you dare to do differently.

I've used my Nikon SB800 and SB900 in A(uto) Mode. Works fine.

I understand that Olympus E System guns are directly compatible with Panasonic cameras, although they cost rather more than the £100 you have indicated.

Metz also make a nice gun for Olympyus cameras, (44 I think), which costs about £160.

I ave also heard several reports than Nikon SB guns work OK with these cameras.
