Jan09 comp "The long night" Closed

January – "The long night" – pictures after dark

With winter’s short days the night is long – so make the most of it. Show us a picture taken outside at night that capitalises on those strange colours, the empty streets or some other unique aspect of the world after sunset.

    2. Images must not exceed 600 pixels x 600 pixels

    Good luck!

PS. If you're new to embedding images in forums and you're having problems, don't forget you have approx. ONE HOUR to try something else - if at the end of that time your still having a problem, contact a moderator.

PPS. If you need help with resizing images etc, then PM a moderator with details of the image manipulation program you're using (if you have one) and they’ll get back to you a.s.a.p. Note: there are free programs you can use in the ‘Posting Images – Maximum Sizes etc’ sticky.

    Darlo at Night

This is one of the shots from my recent trip into town after dark with a fellow snapper.
We both took similar shots except I stopped down to get a star effect on the lights, hence long exposures!
