    New Panasonic Advice

I previously had a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 but I gave it to my sister, I'm looking for something similar and I was wondering which camera in the range would compare now?

Like this? Or are you up for something different.

Check the range out here. If you can run to it, the micro four thirds G1 has had good reviews, and is very small. See here for example, and check out the size comparison video clip at the end.

The FZ7 was an excellent camera but it's been since superceeded by three later models, the FZ8, FZ18 and FZ28. Amazon are selling the FZ8 for £159, the FZ18 for £269 and the FZ28 for £221. All better models than the FZ7.

    Hope this helps...

I should say that my second link was to an english language page. When I just clicked on it, it switched to a German one. How strange .................... or is it?

May I recommend the FZ28, when looking for cameras I looked at the Nikon P80 but the Lumix seemed much more versatile.
I have now owned a FZ28 for three weeks and would strongly advise you to check it out...
