Being a Leica user, the micro 4/3rds format has an appeal, especially if an adapter is produced to take M mount lenses
Other Leica users will be familiar with the risk of shutter burn if the lens cap is left off in strong sunlight and the sun allowed to focus on the shutter curtain.
As the G1 has no physical shutter covering the sensor, or an optical viewfinder to direct light through the body, surely the same risk exists with the result being a wrecked sensor.
Can anyone confirm this risk?
Thanks
