    APS lenses

This is just a query that came up at the club last week. The normal Minolta af lenses will fit the current range of Sony Digital jobs which have any size sensor. The other sensor size can also use those and the digital dedicated lenses as well, but what about the lenses made to fit the Minolta APS SLR's would they also fit? Or was the bayonet a different size.

Different mount completely, don't think there are any converters either

Nor can there ever be as the flange/film plane mount register is vastly different (APS 36mm, AF 44.50mm).

All correct, but purely for historical interest, I would point out that perhaps the first "affordable" consumer DSLR actually used the V-mount Vectis lenses - the Minolta Dimage RD 3000.
