Tilt-Shift, time lapse, miniature movies - amazing stuff!

Not sure if this is the right place for this but just had to share this guys work. Keith Loutit is a Sydney based photographer and shoots these miniature 'toy' tilt shift movies of life going on in Sydney. We're all familiar with the toy town tilt shift 'look' but this is a progression of that I guess.

First spotted an article here - you can see some vidoes here

He uses Canonn gear and, apparently, breaks quite a lot of gear! Hate to think how much work goes into compiling these things too!!

I recommend whatching the HD versions if you have bandwidth (doesn't take that much longer than the low def versions)

    Enjoy!

    Fascinating stuff.

I watched "Bathtub III" - I was waiting for the tide to go out, but it never did.

Great really enjoyed that apart from the fact that I always get depressed on how clever other people are...

I've had a play at that. You can get the same effect using photoshop as in this example below.

Try doing that on thousands of images to make a movie though....

Simple enough - just use a D90 or 5D Mk II...

    Very true!

I was thinking more of the amount of photoshopping required if you don't use a tilt-shift for multiple images though.
