    Herstmonceux Castle

Taken with the Pentax 10-17mm. I put the camera at ground level and took six shots with the fisheye without using the viewfinder - this was the best.......

Great Shot.. Mr.Dave_Cox. I love the way you composed this image. Colors are so beautiful. DOF is cool. Amazing clouds formations (curves) with almost same on FG with grass... simply awesome... waiting for more picture from other friends.

Two very good images to start this month off I've been out today trying out some ideas but not happy with the results yet Still, good practice and I now have a better idea of what I can expect shooting from ground level

Just remembered its FirstView so I think I'll post an early effort there

I was lucky that I remembered the brief for the October comp - the first day out with the lens and I thought it was an ideal subject for the comp....

You'll have to wait for August's results first!

No, Damien normally comes back with the results sometime around the second and third week of the following month. This time he's obviously been very busy.

Not that I'm complaining, it makes my reign as current forum competition last even longer.

Indeed, though I'm quite happy we didn't see the Turtles Head in Marty's shot!

I was considering using that as a lead in to the shot

Great shot Marty, cheered me up no end

.........having just received a letter from the vets telling me they are charging Ł10/prescription. That's just the paper prescription as I order the drugs online at a fraction of what the vets charge. Considering I need a monthly prescription, they won't write a repeat prescription they are just a bunch of money grabbing @!$Ł%"s

Right, I've got that of my chest now Thanks again Marty.

    Re: Oct08 comments “Ground level”

Quite a few feet FEETuring this month (see what I did there?) - but I do like Mrty's vindaloo incident - very funny... and the bridesmaid feet shot is a really nice narrative, at first I thought a little on the dark side but actually that maybe adds to the mood...

...this month I'm not entering until I see the results from last month, or the month before that ha ha - actually having not entered in the first couple of days I'mm going to see what else surfaces then apologise at the last minute for not having anything decent!!!

    Good luck all

I'm really struggling for inspiration on this one, perhaps the Belgium beer festival this weekend will loosen up my imagination.
