Interesting, just when I was thinking Kodak were out of that market, this comes along.

Hmm, I thought Ektar was discontinued years ago! I used to use it, it was fabulous but then was told they no longer make it-this was in the 90s!
Had the grain of a 25 asa film, or rthter lack of it!

I wonder if this is likely to appear in the news section of AP?

Only Monday to Friday. Even taking that into account it should have been there last week. Perhaps AP has gone film/digital like the rest of us. I.E. say we use both but haven't used film for the last five years.

Would that have been Ektar 25, by any chance?

Well I'm not sure actually. I seem to remember trying both 100 and 25 and being knocked out by the detail. OK they were only 6x4s but they looked pin sharp. I have some old photos somewhere, must dig them out. I can't check the negs cos back then I just threw the negs away when the prints got put in an album.

I'll be honest, I never used the medium-rated one - wasn't it 125, though? I did use the 25, and also the 1000. Great stuff, and at that time I hardly ever used colour neg.

    Yup! 25, 125, & 1000.

Still got one roll of each (135) in the freezer!

Funny thing is if I wanted to use a fast film i'd go for a really grainy one and use it to effect. I have used a 3200 film before(not Kodak),grain like golf balls but great at night.
