Suction Camera Mount Query

Hi everyone,

I am in the market for a suction mount for my Nikon D80. I initially want to use it to mount my camera to my car - roof, bonnet and side of door - to take pictures while moving (in safety of course!).

Does anyone have any recommendations for a particular mount? Has anyone used the MonsterPod?

Also, are there any pitfalls I should avoid, other than the Police stopping me obviously!

I use the Cullmann travel set which includes a suction mount and a number of other devices including a clamp which I think would be more reliable than a suction mount.

I don't think the MonsterPod is very reliable. I wouldn't put my camera on one. Try one, my local Jessops (!) talked me out of it.
