    Thanks guys!

    I basically found a shiny plastic bit/sheet thingy,drilled a whole through it (to hold the flower straight and steady), cut a flower, sprayed it all a bit, put a macro ring flash under it and underexposed it. Then I just increased the contrast a tad in PS and that was it. Just experiment with different plastic or translucid surfaces.

    Winding Clock

    Of the early entries, I have to say that this one (ian_g) stands out for me amongst some other great shots.

    Gotta say, I love Bee in Flight and Yellow Flower. The textures and tones of both are lovely.

    Thanks Graham. Must confess it was more luck than judgment as I set the self timer, and put the camera in the mud. I've also slightly 'Ortoned' it to soften it as it was very contrasty.
