Hi - It's a Jacobs store
The new store open on St Mary's Street is Jacobs. I've been in there a few times, mainly to look at their second-hand line-up, which isn't that much. They do say, however, if you have a look on their website and see something you like, they can order it over for you.
Most of what they do is printing and processing, then compact digitals, and then some DSLR products. Not bad, but glad there is a bit more competition in Cardiff.
It's nice to hear of a company opening a camera shop these days, there must have been thousand that have closed down in the last ten years.
Ben.
Not quite as straight forward as that. Bought up by the lumbering giant from Leicester THEN closed down to cut down the overheads! It's nice to hear of a company opening a camera shop these days, there must have been thousand that have closed down in the last ten years.
The big pub chains are doing exactly that. When they close a loss making pub they introduce a clause in the sale agreement that the property cannot re-open as a pub.
