    Upgrade Benbo Head

    Hi,

I currenly own a Benbo Trekker tripod(got it second hand) which came with cork base screw and ball head.

I have been asked to help with some theatre work and I want to upgrade to something with a quick release head. I have spotted Manfrotto 322RC2 head and it seems to have all the feature I want.

Just wondering if that would fit my tripod properly or if there are anything else that has the same features but at a cheaper price that would fit my Benbo.

(I don't want to change my Benbo as I love the versatility of it)

    Thanks in advance
    Yatty

Looks OK to me, but I'd advise checking that the threads match before parting with your money. (My Benbo Mk I has both 1/4" and 3/8" but no hook. I've no idea what the Manfrotto needs to mount to your tripod, but you can buy 3/8" to 1/4" adapters if necessary.)

AFAIK Manfrotto heads are all threaded 3/8".
