Where to buy lee filters

I'm looking to buy a Lee filter system but all the prices I've seen appear to be strangely similar. Is there a place that sells a bit cheaper or is there a bit of price fixing?

BTW Hitech filters will fit the Lee holder and are quite a bit cheaper. I've got a couple of their graduated ND's and they're very good. They are also available from the firms in the list above.

Hi Martin, I would recommend any of the three Steve has mentioned, though I buy my Lee filters from Speed Graphic.

Another Landy enthusiast, what model of 110 do you you have?

I'm supposed to be developing it and I was expecting to have it finished by now. I'm really good at starting things but never finishing them off. I'm halfway through building an Access database to record the image data which I intended to use to populate the website. And the weathers' been too good to stay indoors and....

I only put it up to receive some comments on the layout and I kind of forgot it was still there. Now you've reminded me I'll crack on with it, probably on Monday, the weather forecast doesn't look too good. But I'll have my new Land Rover by then...more excuses![img]/img/wwwthreads/smile.gif[/img]

Well, FTIW it looks good. And I know exactly what you mean about distractions. I had just started revamping mine in September 2002 when we dicided to move house. Finally got it finished in a 3 night burst in March this year! Anyway, best of luck with yours.

I did a price comparison of a Lee Filter Foundation kit, 72mm wideangle ring and P&P (if any).

The results were:-
Morco - £72.49
Robert White - £72.85
Silverprint - £81.16
Speedgraphic - £84.15

Whilst cheapest is not always best, and I would prefer to use a local photographic dealer (in Aberdeen?), Robert White and Morco were helpful on the phone and I'll probably shop with them when funds allow.
