    iN-PUBLiC

Looks as though iN-PUBLiC's site has had a bit of an overhaul - for contemporary street photography they're hard to beat!

    Another fine street-photographer is....

The images produced by Robert Doisneau who for some time teamed up with Cartier Bression, but I feel deserves as much recognition.
I've recently bought in Waterstones his book titled 'Paris', which I would highly recommend.

There's a sequence of shots in this book entitled 'Romi Gallery' which portray brillantly the reactions of customers veiwing a rather 'racy' painting.
ISBN 2-0803-0491-7 Hardback, well worth the £35 for the 560 images!

Couldn't disagree with you more, Sam - Doisneau is far better than HCB.

Thought I'd Phiggy this thread. I've just discovered In-Public myself and a quick search revealed that it has been linked to before.

No doubt it has changed a good deal in four years so it's worth a look.

They have also started a publication called, errr, Publication, "a biannual publication produced by street photographers for street photographers" with the unusual difference of including a set of prints with each issue. I've ordered a copy and will post my thoughts once it's plopped through my letter box.

I've had iN-PUBLiC bookmarked for years.
An excellent place to visit often.
