    10 steps behind

I've discovered an inadvertent theme running through my photography, the strange thing is that the first shot was taken 4 years ago long before I had any any real interest in photography which has mainly begun over the last year or so.

A figure in the right place gives depth and can add interest, it's not so much a theme as observation and thought.

I notice that the redwood one scored highly in last months APOY - well done!

I enjoyed looking at these photos. "Loch Ness" and "Space to think" are my favourites.

I hope she's not getting a complex about only ever being photographed from behind...

Thanks guys, I don't think she'll get a complex I very very rarely take photos of any people if I can help it. Not that I don't want to, Its just an area of photography I've got a LOT to learn about. I'll just stick to plonking people on thirds for depth as mentioned above for now

Was surprised the Redwood shot got as high as 20th after looking at the others, some fantastic stuff in there!

Currently incapacitated so photography is taking a back seat but looking through my flickr account I still see this theme running through it, thought I'd throw a few more in here, I've also noticed a huge gravitation to black and white over the last few months especially, I wonder if its just a fad or if I've moved to the dark side for good!
