Look back at the many threads that discuss 'green energy' - especially wind farms. Count how many times subsidies and high costs were mentioned. It's been known (even on a photo forum) that so called 'free' energy is actually more expensive than traditional sources.Originally Posted by spangler

It doesn't actually take much to work out that high subsidies and the current economic situation don't sit well together.
It's been going on and going on obviously long before 'Dave' became PM.
