A few from a recent week in the Peak District and the Lakes... Weather was stormy for the first part of the week in Edale, where we camped... On getting to the Lakes on Tuesday in heavy rain, we decided that checking into a hotel was the best idea for the rest of the week.. Ironically, the weather was beautiful until we left yesterday!

I like No's 1 and 4 (especially No 4). You're obviously somewhere near the Kirkstone here. If there's one extremely small criticism, I'd say that the highlight on the bright cloud has burnt out somewhat. I don't know if detail is present on the neg/file but a wee bit of judicious burning in would help - just enough to create a bit of texture in the cloud but not too much as to ruin the drama of the scene. BTW, that's Brotherswater you're looking down on!

I like your compositions in all of them, but I feel the stormy look may be more suited to B&W? They're all nice, only the clipped highlights on the final two detract a little. A good set!

I like them all but the first one I think is the best. Well done!

Thanks guys, and argh yes I think it is Brotherswater, my mistake..
I agree that the over exposed section of the sky is slightly distracting, may have to adjust it for the print version.
Thanks again
