Sony A700 ISO 200 f9.0 1/500 16-105mm @70mm

I'm looking to improve my composition techniques, am I on track I wonder?

As far as composition goes, i think that the water on the left hand site is a bit off putting. It could either have been included in whole or cropped out. Where was it coming from?

Hi,

It comes from the above left, it is part of a deluge system. Looking at it again, maybe I could have made a feature of it or just cut it out completely?
