Nice shots Dave. Only comment I would make is that they seem cropped a little tightly (i.e. nowhere for the plane to fly into...).
Can I assume from the colour in the sky you were there on Saturday? If so did you get any of the Vulcan?
I was there on the Sunday and it didn't fly... Still got some nice shots of the Virgin Atlantic/Red Arrows flyby tho.. (on my flickr).

HI Steve I was using a Canon 40D with a 100-400f4-f5.6L I keep the focus set to servo so you can track the planes. Keep the shutter mode to continuous high so you dont miss "THAT" shot. Set the shooting mode as shutter priority and keep the speed 500-1000th for the fast stuff and lower it to 160th plus for the propeller planes to give some movement to the propellers. I hope this helps, but above all, practise.

Hi Gary Yes was there Saturday, was nearly too hot
Here are a couple of the Vulcan, I saw it last year at Farnborough on irs first flight since the rebuild. It still made me go WOW! this year, a fantastic sight and sound.

I love the Vulcan. I remember seeing it at Greenham Common yeeeears ago, just before it was taken out of action so quiet as it took off.... Then an amazing thunder 10 minutes later!!
Great shots!!
My bro in law was gonna go but said the queue to get it was taking way too long so he gave up.

Thanks for the comments.
I could'nt get near the front because of the crowds, but was pleased with the results from being back on the grass. Would have like some runway shots but hey ho...
BTW Gary i had a look at your flickr site, some great shots...
