FZ28 HD?

Hi, I have just purchased the optional component lead to show HD on my compatible TV. The movie function is stunning, according to the manual I should be able to shoot stills and show them in HD aswell. However I cannot seem to be able to find how to set the camera to do this, has anyone got any knowledge of this please?.
