I just bought this compact and am mightily impressed. What a great little camera! I was sceptical about cramming nearly 14mp into a compact but noise simply isn't an issue with this thing. Image quality is outstanding IMHO for a camera of this type and it is brilliant for keeping in your pocket. It has an optical viewfinder too; although it is probably not very accurate its still a nice thing to have.

The only two quibbles I have are:

1.It doesn't shoot RAW but I knew this and so far have been more than happy with the JPEGs it produces

and

2. It would have been nice if the zoom was in the 28-75 range instead of 35-105, but I can cope with the range as it is
