17-35 AF-S Exif data wrong?
      #791364 - 10/05/2009 23:46

Bit of a strange one this - when using the Nikon 17-35 AF-S zoom on my D700 at its widest setting the EXIF data shows a 24mm focal length instead of 17mm.

The lens itself works fine and the focal data on the is correct if you zoom past 24mm. Has anyone else noticed this? One of those small details that annoys!

Probably just a fault or dirt on contacts inside the lens.
