d700 pros and cons

..in the buying guide.

One of the cons in the buying guide is "Lack of DX mask" but, look in the Shooting Menu under Image Area; Choose Image Area and there it is, a Dx mask.

While I'm in gripe mode, I think some of the lens prices in the Buying Guide could do with an update.

You're right, the D700 does indeed have a masking. As for the lenses, we are currently working through the list. The recent price hikes have changed many of the RRP's, though not all are easily available. These are all currently being updated.
