Colour IR film availability?
      #786606 - 24/04/2009 09:14

My son has expressed an interest in IR and I wondered if anyone knows the best place to buy colour IR film.He knows little about it so any pointers to websites that explain the subject would be appreciated. Also how and where to have processed.Any help welcome. Thanks Dave

As far as I know, the Kodak infra-red slide film is totally discontinued-it is listed as such on the Kodak professional web site. Occasional rolls surface on e-bay, but they are out of date and frequently the old E4 version. I would be VERY dubious as to whether they could be used-infra red film is even more difficult to store than normal colour film.

I've got a roll or two the bidding starts at let's see how much is the country in debt. It's a good starting point.
Hey mods I'm not actually trying to sell it.
Must say though it's not the most exciting thing I've ever done with film.
Give me the mono version any time
