I presume this isn't just an issue I'm having...
When I visit these forum pages, loads of images are missing. Looking in the activity viewer there are lots of files "not found" in directories such as forums.whatdigitalcamera.com/images .../newimages etc..etc..
My browsers isn't finding ../stylesheets/ap.css or /print.css either (amongst other site component files), and it's making the pages look bad.
What's going on, and can you fix it please!!

Seems you might be alone in this, judging by the lack of response. No issues at this end at least ...

Mine does that occasionally, all is fine if I reboot.

Do you have any pop up blocking software running? Have you accidentally added a path for the graphics/css to that?
You seem to be the only person having the problems (apart from occasional happenings) so it must be at your end.

Try a proper computer, then!
(You won't see, of course, but there's a smiley at the end of that statement - and this one. )

Ha, ha. Proper computer indeed....
No smileys, just question marks.
I may well be the only person experiencing this, but if for example I try to directly download the 'missing smiley' in your post – I get:
wink.gif 0 bytes of ? - file doesn't exist
My activity viewer still lists lots of stuff as "not found". If this is just me, I'd really like to know why.....

Turning off 'Block Pop-Up Windows' makes no difference....
It can't be just me surely?
I've just tried to access an arbitary image directly – http://forums.whatdigitalcamera.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif by putting this in the address bar (i.e. it's not being requested by the page, or the PHP server)...
Returns a 404 Not Found error – "The requested URL /images/graemlins/confused.gif was not found on this server"
What gives....??

Sounds like it's ISP-related, either a DNS problem or a block for another reason.
