David's blog has now been updated with more on the S2 and perhaps more interestingly for most, sample images from the new 24mm f/1.4 Summilux-M and 18mm f/3.8 Super-Elmar-M.

Seriously sharp shots there Tim and assuming he used the metering in the 8.2 then that is very impressive in some very difficult light.
The lenses themselves appear to have superb drawing ability with very good contrast and colour rendition.

They are very nice indeed Peter. I must admit the results so far from the 24mm are making me reconsider my initial preference for the 21mm Lux. On film, the slightly longer focal length has more appeal for me than 21mm, and if the money is there, the 18mm would be a nice complement to it (as well as being a 24mm AoV lens on the M8). The pair also share the same filter size too. Decisions, decisions as he says!
