Mamiya rb67 flash
      #735289 - 28/11/2008 19:24

Im getting a rb67 pros or pro sd depending on what I can find for christmas. I have decided to go for the mechanicle rb over the rz for the lack of electronic requirment. However I would like to know, can I use my flashes, or flash triggers on it? I can see what looks like a hotshoe on it, but I dont know how flashes of that period worked so I cant be 100% sure whether technologies are compatible?

thanks for the help. It doesnt matter if it doesnt or if I have to find a work around, but Id like to know before.

Still brings a tear to my eye remembering the day I sold my Pro SD. Can't quite remember why I did it though - probably 'er indoors and her lebensraum requirements.

That side mounted hotshoe ain't hot. It's just an accessory shoe. It will hold a flash alright, but you'll still need to attach it by a cable to the PC socket in the lens.

Enjoy it. I'll buy another, one day.

Wishful thinking I'm afraid.

I'd need all my cameras for that.
