FZ28 problem

Hi,I am a newbie to the forum, (and the camera).A simple question.The FZ28 is supposed to have 2 and 10 second self-timer settings.I can only find a 10 second setting on my model,am I doing something wrong?.Can anyone help me with this problem please.Any help would be much appreciated.

try it in a mode other than automatic.

Thankyou, you are correct.I set it to scene,and it then gives you the option of 2 or 10 seconds.I want to shoot birds on the feeders in the garden,so need to find a mode for that.Another question ,the flash does not pop up automatically,is this correct?.Thanks again Badger100.

The flash stays down on mine so I can only assume this is correct, But unlike a couple of other's I own where this flash does pop up automatic.

Thanks,looks like that's correct.I assumed originally it would be auto flash.

I am new to your forum and I have only had my FZ28 a week but it does everything it say's on the tin. It will take a while to learn to drive it but for the money I am well impressed...
