Nice picture, an ND Grad would have helped the sky though, you can do that in photoshop with a gradient adjustment layer.

Nice effort Nig, but my eyes are drawn to the small object just off the right-centre and the lone bale on the left. Did you try a portrait format with only the left-hand side?

I was thinking just what Bawbee said, I like the picture but I think most of the interest is on the left-hand side.

I like that Nig. The square crop does work in this case. You do have a few alternatives to consider with the original. Be Brave

Yup. I like the original shot too - preferably without the little noggle on the brow (centre of frame), if possible.
And definitely not mono'd - waste of a beautifully subtle colour shot that!
