Highland Wildlife Park-Amur tigers arrive.
      #714605 - 06/10/2008 19:37

Amur tigers arrived at the Highland Wildlife Park today. The park is at Kincraig near Kingussie and very well worth a visit - plenty of opportunities to photograph a wide variety of species in surroundings that are as natural as possible.

This was on the News yesterday but we can't believe it until you post some images Jennie

The tigers were the ones in Edinburgh Zoo, weren't they?

Yes they were and they have raised cubs in Edinburgh-they are hoping they will breed successfully up at Kingussie as well. How did you guess? -I am up in the Boat of Garten for 2 weeks on Nov 1st so I am planning at least 2 days at the park and I am bursting to get some good shots of the tigers as well as the other wildlife. I have been there before and its a great place. Tanking it down here today-again!!!!!
