I doesn't really matter as I would be looking for something like a 2/3 day course which means I could travel and stay over. I'm sure someone on this forum has taken a Portrait course at some time or other.

Cheers

I've done a couple of really good courses at Central St Martins in the heart of London Village. They aren't cheap, but they are good.

Just to add that I was fortunate enough to win a one day portrait course at Annabel Williams in Cumbria through AP. The course itself was well run and educational but I found that there were far too many students to the one tutor and had I paid the £300+ for the day I wouldn't have thought that I got value for money.
