Thanks Tim, great news! Come Photokina I had looked in vain for details of this camera but had not been able to find any on the Fuji site.

The forum has already discussed this, but I fear it will be too expensive for me. A six element lens folder would make a super back packing quality film camera, if I'm still around in 20 years time and you can still buy film, I'll get one secondhand

Great news!

I've got similar sentiments to Wheelu, in that it's likely to be too expensive, but here's hoping.

Its really cool yet a little strange that a camera with from the ark technology is being produced as we approach 2009. And a folder, with AF,bizarre! I'm not sure about the ethics of renaming it a Voigtlander Bessa III tho. Should it not just be called the Fuji GF670?
I'd have one if I had the money tho-its nice to know companies are still investing if film too!

In regard to the previous posts here, the collaboration is obviously with an eye to keeping costs down. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, as someone said.
