I have been given a Minolta AF/70-210 which for some reason is only going as far as 150 and then it won't move any further. Before I go to a fixing shop and look a complete eejit, can anyone give me a couple of ideas as to what I should check first?
Sorry for the delay in replying, kept forgetting to get my beercan out of the bag, in the car! to check it out. There isn't really anything I can tell you to check for, in normal operation the zoom from 70 - 210 is/should be smooth and easy, if it's jamming at 150, then I'd say something is wrong with the gearing and I'd recommend a trip to the Fixers.
