Anybody else doing or done the Wildlife Module?
      #705523 - 12/09/2008 18:50

And if so, how is it going and how did you find it?

I am going to have a crack since I have at least 2 decent images and hope to collect 1 tomorrow.

What did people concentrate on? I am thinking birds, large mammals and something macro....molluscs or arthropods maybe.

Or am I the only idiot getting cold and wet?

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Its a definite maybe. But so is Stll Life?!
I have an insect, a hedgehog, a bison, deer, reindeer, wolves, oystercatchers, otters etc but I am not confident with many of them. The Highland Wildlife Park was excellent and Chris Weston held a very good workshop there.
I am going to try to capture some more birds and then see what I can sort out.

Thanks - yes I get the feeling people are snuggling into the sofa reading this!

Had a pop at a garden spider and found a new Murphy's Law of photography:

"The big, well marked, example of an arachnid is always the one hanging behind at least other web, and with its eyes on the side that you cannot reach."

And
Don't walk backwards keeping pace with an advancing animal unless you are sure what's behind you. Not good for dignity or camera.
