Micro 4/3rds Panasonic Lumix G1
      #705360 - 12/09/2008 11:54

I just saw this at the DPreview site...it's a camera for dwarfs and elves I mean, it's tiny, much much smaller than the DMC-L10. I was kind of thinking they would have come up with something rangefinderish or compactish with interchangeable lenses...ish? but they came up with a DSLR that goes on your keyring. Not bad though I have to say, but when you see a super-tele attached to it (there's a photo on the preview) you will laugh!

Looks gimmicky to me. Another case of style first, functionality second.

Well at 124x84x45 it's taller and thicker than a Leica M6 137x78x33 (measured - not official figs) and I don't think all we Leica louts are either dwarves or elves.

Plus you'll probably get about 10 G1's per M8, price wise!!
