FX9 Loose mode dial info needed

Hello all,great little camera,but i've got a problem with the mode dial on my 2yr old Panasonic fx9. It has become loose and does not"click" onto each mode, and very easily slips onto another mode which is frustrating. Has anyone else had this problem? if so what can be done to rectify it? Ive heard that Panasonic are'nt always that good with after-sales service, has this been anyone else's experience too? Any advice would be most helpful.
