New Forest...

We're off to the New Forest for a family weekend meet up and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of good photographic areas?
We'll be at Sway, so anywhere in that area would be good.

Thanks in advance.

Once you get away from the main roads (A31 & A35) most of it is good, plenty of variety, from thick wooded areas to heathland.

Ponies and cattle roam free so there is a 40MPH speed limit throughout the forest except on the aforementioned main drags.

Bucklers Hard & Emery Down are just two of many nice places, or there is Beaulieu if you want the motor museum & abbey.

Cheers, MIKE

We were there a few weeks ago. I hope you have better weather, it rained every day and all one day. We were camping at Holmsley, great place for pony spotting.

Here's one from one of the dry moments, taken near Milford-on-Sea, great views of the Solent and the Isle of White. I've marked it on the map.
