I got my notice on Saturday and it tool me ages to find the dates, they only appear on the last page.

I think it'll have to be the Saturday for us this year, if I'm not in Gabon.

Well it looks like being Sunday at the moment...Saturday may force me to be in Dumfrieshire...which really isnt that like Gabon at all!

That'll be Dumfriesshire - or DumGal to be correct. I suppose D&G could be a bit like Gabon, it depends on where you go.

PS - On my new project, the Snr. Piping Engineer admits to living in Sanquhar!!

Did you manage along Graeme? Anyone?

I was too busy making preparations for my Gabon trip next week - you know, washing, ironing, start packing, realising that my tropical gear had shrunk, so shopping, etc., etc.

Sadly, no. I ended up having to take a fungus ID workshop near Lockerbie, first time I have missed it for a while....

Lockerbie, what a bummer! I spent a lot of my mis-spent yoof there.

I'll be visiting Dumfries during the first weekend in October - parent's 62nd anniversary [3rd] and Mum's 82nd birthday [4th] (no good news there either, I'm afraid )
