just got my new canon 450D :D

got any tips for me ?

You may find some points in our review helpful:

Other than that, I suggest increasing sharpness to 4 in Standard Picture Style for JPEGs and to get to grips with the DPP software for dealing with Raw files. You can also tether your camera to a computer via the EOS Utility software if you want to have live view on your computer.
