I want a new memory card for a G9 - which one should I get and where do I find the best deal?
Simple question - for those who know about this kind of thing, but I'm a film man and haven't kept up with current card specs/prices!
I'm currently using a 2GB (pq branded????) card, but would now like a second card. Massive capacity is not a requirement, but reliability is.

a) get a 4GB SDHC card (will give you over 200 RAW images) b) www.7dayshop.com is a good starting point. I got a few cheapo 4GB ones off them and they work fine.

Get a Lexar Pro card from somewhere like Picstop and get a free copy of Paint Shop Pro X

I don't know the write speed of the G9 but there is likely to be an advantage in using a fast card, A Lexar UDMA is rated at x300 compared with x40 for a typical budget card. The G9 won't support UDMA but your next card or card reader might so there is a degree of future proofing and it may help with continuous shooting.

A fast card is beneficial when shooting RAW on the G9
