Hi there,
Sadly I've recently broken my fujifilm finepix f10 camera so am currently looking for a new model to buy. I'm pretty interested in photography (but am def still an amateur!) and would like something with a variety of different settings so I can teach myself a bit more about how to take good pictures! I know this is all very vague but I can't seem to find any decent advice on the web & would much appreciate any help whatsoever! My price bracket is probably around £100-50 but could possibly stretch to £200 if it's really worth paying the extra.
Thank u in advance for any help!

The 9MP Fuji S9600 is worth a look at........

Or you could try one of the Canon Powershot A series, such as the 720IS. They're a bit chunkier than your Fuji but offer good manual control, as well as full auto of course. See the range here.

The powershot series is excellent (IMHO - I have several); the Fuji S9600 (I have one of these too - help! photography is an expensive hobby) is styled more like a dSLR and you turn the lens-mounted zoom & focus rings manually rather than using the electronic switch-type levers that most other cameras offer. The S9600 also has a tilting (but non-swivelling) LCD screen. The S9600 also shoots in RAW (but not RAW+JPEG) if you want to dabble a bit in post-processing
