What's taken him so long?

Re the embedded link I hate GMTV with a passion. It's the televisual equivalent of the Daily Mail. Just letting you know.

The matter is gaining a higher public profile as the campaign gathers momentum. This week, BBC TV's News and Current Affairs department called Amateur Photographer's newsdesk for information on the latest developments

Interesting - I emailed BBC's "The One Show" last week suggesting this would be in the public interest to cover on the show, citing AP as a good source of information ...

I could not agree more. That said, I've always thought Penny Smith has a certain appeal, in an "older woman" type of way. But then again she might actually be younger than me. Such is life.

Now that we've heard from the Shadow Home Secretary, maybe it's time we also demanded a Highlight Home Secretary? To be known as Dodge and Burn.

not enough detail in the shadow home secretary,
whereas the highlights will be blown by the incumbent home secretary.

The One Show did its piece on photography today (Monday) - I think it was positive overall, though they could have stated that it is not in anyway illegal to photograph in public. Instead they went photographing in a shopping centre to cause security to approach them ( which obviously isn't a public place ).

At least the opinions of photographers had a chance to be put across, and overall the absurbity of stopping people taking photos was the general feel of the piece.

So thanks BBC - and thanks AP for taking the time to speak to their research dept.

You must be more robust then me to even contemplate watching that waste of 30 minutes.
