Hi I am looking to buy a digital SLR which fulfills the following requirements:

Less than £400, Built in Flash, standard in-door and out-door pictures, cost effective lenses not sport etc.
What would you reccommend? Many thanks for your comments in advance.

Plenty of entry level models from Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus, Sony and probably a few others I've missed off.

Most people will recommend what they own. What suits them might not suit you. Best to visit a store and see what handles best for you.
