Buying Studio : Help / Advice Please
      #682566 - 24/07/2008 14:21

Well I have a Canon 350D and I am looking to buying a studio from Jessops or someone a like, I have seen 2 that I quite like the look of, but advice would be really helpful, do you think either of these are good value for money? and which one would you recommend? or are there any others under £300.

1) Portaflash Digital Studio Kit

2) Interfit EX150 Home Studio Kit

ALSO!! - Will I have to buy anything else for my camera to work the studio etc?

Thanks for any advice

I just use a lead to connect one light to the camera, have thought about getting the wireless option.

Go for the inter fit and it'll have a lead but unless your camera has a socket to fit the lead, you'll need to get a hotshoe adapter

Both my Minolta Dynax7d and the Sony A700 have one, but will still look at the wireless option, after all its only £40

have a look at elemental. they are uk based and the kits seem very good value for money and have heard good things.

if not i would go for interfit myself.

For two moments, I thought you were into Real Estate! But no, you're asking about lighting kits!

As I have just posted on another thread the Elemntal kits are very good value for money I have just got the three head comes with everything kit at around £400 and it seems increadably good value for money.
