I am looking to buy a camera to use for an Art and Design course in September and I am really looking for one that can do good close up photos... I am not primarily a photographer but would like a decent camera that will take decent close up photos as well as normal ones. Also, being a student, I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a camera with aspects I won't need.
So...I've been looking at a camera in a local store...it's called Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd, here is a link...
The closeup picture of the exhaust or whatever it is, is the sort of quality close up im looking for... I had a play with it in the shop but couldnt work the camera well enough to know what I was doing >_<
PLEASE HELP! I've got a project to do and need to take decent photos!!
Should be a good choice. IIRC the S9600 will do a little bit better, but is somewhat more expensive. Do take time to read the instruction manual thoroughly
